White Eagle – El Dorado presents check to St Francis Ministries

White Eagle Credit Union presented a check to the Saint Francis Ministries.  Saint Francis Ministries serves children and families, young adults and refugees with a variety of programs aimed at doing the most good.

Since 1945, Saint Francis Ministries has been dedicated to the needs of children and youth.  They advocate for them and work to protect them while doing their best to ensure that every child we serve gets a chance at a happy and fulfilling life.

As a non-profit, faith-based organization, St Francis Ministries place great stock in the value of both traditional and non-traditional families and believe strong families make children’s lives better. What began as a home for boys on the Kansas prairie is now a multi-faceted child and family services ministry serving over 31,000 people in Kansas, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Illinois, Texas, El Salvador, and Honduras with a broad range of programs and services.

St Francis Ministries helps strengthen and heal families while providing for the health and security of children. Though rooted in the Episcopal tradition, Saint Francis Ministries is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to the protection, nurturing, and healing of children and families in body, mind, and spirit. Air Capital AMBUCS receives donation.  White Eagle – Newton presented the Air Capital AMBUCS a check for $5000 to help proved therapeutic tricycles (Amtrykes) to mobility challenged children and veterans.  White Eagle will be a major donor in the upcoming Golf Scramble.

The Augusta Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of the city of Augusta and our state. The Augusta Historical Society maintains and is responsible for the restoration of the Augusta Historical Museum located in Historic Downtown Augusta, Kansas.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

White Eagle - El Dorado collected food items and helped package Thanksgiving Blessing Meal boxes this past week.White Eagle CU – El Dorado held a food drive for Thanksgiving Blessing Meal Boxes.  Staff took the food items and helped package the Thanksgiving Blessing Meal boxes this past week. Thank you to all who brought food items to the White Eagle – El Dorado branch. Your donations helped assist the Family Worship Center provide Thanksgiving Blessing meal boxes in the El Dorado community area.

Did you know? The Meals Ministry and Pantry in El Dorado provides home made hot meals to anyone every Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:30 PM in FWC dining room. Wednesday night meals are provided at 6:15 PM for kids & teens.

Food Pantry open 2nd Tuesday of each month 11 AM -2 PM.

Friday, October 6th was a fun evening at the Augusta Homecoming Community Tailgating Party.Friday, October 6th was a fun evening at the Augusta Homecoming Community Tailgating Party.  The Community Tailgating Party brought a nice number of friends and students by our booth.  Shout out to our volunteers, Bill Slade and Barbara Patterson who helped pass out waters, cookies and drawstring back-packs.
