White Eagle Credit Union’s Charitable Giving Guidelines
While we would love to be able to fill each request for support, it is not feasible to do so. These guidelines will not cover every possibility or opportunity and WECU reserves the right to make exceptions as we see fit.
All requests must be submitted in writing along with a White Eagle Credit Union Donation Request Form found at the link above or at any of our branches. Request forms and any required supporting documentation may be dropped off or mailed to our Augusta branch at the address below or emailed to marketing@whiteeaglecu.com.

WECU will only consider requests from registered 501(c)(3) organizations. Each organization may be asked to provide supporting documentation before their request is considered. Incomplete request forms or forms received with less than the minimum amount of notice will not be considered for donations. A minimum of thirty (30) days’ notice is required for consideration.
WECU reserves the right to evaluate each donation request on a case-by-case basis as many factors are taken into account for each request. A decision to deny a donation request does not imply that the event or organization is unworthy or not needed. However, that the request does not fall within our guidelines or funds are not available. Only one request per organization will be considered during each calendar year.
Generally, donations will not be considered for the following:
- Individual needs, including scholarships (outside of WECU’s Scholarship Program) and beauty contest candidates
- Membership dues
- Travel funds for tours, expeditions or trips
- Groups and organizations outside the communities we serve or that will not benefit our members
- Projects of a political or legislative nature
- Additional funds already under a multi-year commitment
